Don't be misled by the "Lite" title...

This is the end-all be-all pack for Microsoft Office. Weighing in at 70mb and needing no ISO mounter or registration info, it's the last Microsoft Office installer you'll ever need. It automatically installs clean, fully functional versions of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Excel, without activation or other unnecessary nonsense. All the programs start and run at lightning-speed with no extra baggage holding them down.

I don't know who created this pack, as I was unable to find it anywhere online. But hey, whoever made it, THANKS!

Download, and double click the EXE. You will see a button pop up, minimized, on the taskbar, showing the 7-zip unpacking process (to a temp folder). When this finishes, a window will pop up for Windows Installer showing the installation process. When this window closes, Office is installed (it installs in unattended mode for the Lite-ness to work right) and ready to use via the Start menu -> Programs -> Microsoft Office. You can uninstall or customize it via the standard Office facilities in the Add/Remove Programs control panel, however you'll need an original Office CD and some tweaking skills to add more components (clipart, fonts, etc).

Update 10/2008:
In response to various comments... I don't read them all but I do try...
- If you're having trouble installing, remove previous Office versions first. Try the "Windows Installer Cleanup Utility" (google for it) to remove any remaining traces; it's a geek tool though. Uninstall _THEN_ use the Installer Cleanup Utility.
- If all your Office ~love~ is already gone, clear your Temp folder with one quick Run-line command: start/run and "cmd /c rmdir /s %temp% and mkdir %temp%" (without quotes). This will delete the files in your current temporary folder that aren't in use... hell, might want to silent that and add it to your startup folder as well. ~censored~ Temp folder. Never could understand why programs never cleanup after themselves.

Great job, everyone, on the seeding front... I've never seen a TPB torrent with so many seeds, let alone my own!
